Carol O'Neill
A registered nurse, Carol initially worked with patients with brain and spinal cord injuries at a Minneapolis hospital, coordinating their care in conjunction with physicians, therapists and family members. She also worked in the quality management department of the same hospital, where she was in frequent communication with physicians regarding medical records and utilization review. More recently, she was employed by the Northfield, Minnesota, school district, working primarily with students in small group learning activities. Carol received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from St. Olaf College in Northfield, a four-year program providing many opportunities for developing communication and leadership skills in various hospital, clinic and community settings. Carol resides with her husband, Steve, and their three
children – two now in college – in Northfield, where she has
been an active volunteer in the school system, serving a term as president
of the parent-teacher organization at her neighborhood elementary school
and helping in the classrooms. She has also taught classes at her church.
A small town Midwesterner all the way, Carol hails from Zumbrota, Minnesota. |
