David L. Neuger
Prior to establishing Neuger Communications Group in 2002, Dave served for four years as the chief communications officer for St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. While at St. Olaf, he was responsible for the overall communications and outreach strategy for the college, and spearheaded a new identity and image program designed to reflect the high-caliber liberal arts experience offered at the college. He was also responsible for 89.3 WCAL, the Twin Cities classical music station; the world-renowned St. Olaf Music Organizations; and the institution’s church relations efforts. Previously, he was president and chief executive officer of Neuger Henry Bartkowski, the fastest growing public relations firm in the Twin Cities region at that time. He has also served as the director of public relations and advertising for a major metropolitan medical center. He has counseled numerous clients throughout his career, including Aequitron Medical, Allianz Life, Barrett Worldwide Moving & Storage, Daktronics, International Dairy Queen and Orion Consulting. Dave is an alumnus of St. Olaf College. He was named one of the “40 Under 40” Business Leaders in the Twin Cities in 1996 and has been recognized countless times for top communications programs by the Public Relations Society of America. An avid fan of his children’s sports teams, Dave also serves on several boards and professional committees. He and his wife, Ruthie, live in Northfield, Minnesota, with one child at home and two in college, and the ruler of the house, Guzman, the family's yellow labrador. |
